Most online PDF converters upload your document to a server, process it there, and send it back. These tools do the work inside your browser instead. The file is read into memory on your computer or phone, converted there, and saved straight to your downloads. Nothing is sent to PaperPorter, nothing is stored, and closing the tab clears it.
