What is MCP?
The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI assistants use outside tools. PaperPorter runs an MCP server at https://paperporter.com/mcp, so any assistant that supports remote MCP servers, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code or Cursor, can search forms, ask you the questions, and generate the filled PDF.
Who can use it?
Anyone. Create a free PaperPorter account, connect your assistant to the MCP server, and sign in when it asks. Your answers and generated PDFs stay private to your account.
Can ChatGPT or Claude fill the actual PDF?
With the PaperPorter MCP connector, a compatible assistant can search approved forms, collect answers, validate a saved application, and generate the original PDF after your confirmation. Custom connector availability depends on your plan and workspace.
Is this the official form?
PaperPorter writes answers into the issuer's original PDF. The original wording and layout remain in place. Check the official source for current requirements.
Does PaperPorter submit my application?
No. Review the completed PDF, sign where required, and submit it yourself through the issuer's process.
Do I need an AI assistant?
No. Public forms that are ready to fill have an editable browser preview and a PDF download, without an account or connector.
What if my PDF is not listed?
New official forms are added after their questions and answer boxes are checked. Meanwhile, the free PDF tool can make any short PDF fillable in your browser.
Will the assistant guess missing answers?
Ask the assistant to use only information you provide and to ask about missing details. PaperPorter validates the mapped required fields, answer types, and conditions. Review every answer before generating your PDF.
