How do you convert a JPG to a PDF?
Most people land here with a stack of photos: pictures of receipts for an expense report, a signed page photographed on a desk, or snapshots of a document someone asked for "as a PDF." This tool turns those JPGs into a single PDF in a few clicks, in any modern browser on a computer or phone.
There is no sign-up and no software to install. JPEG files with the .jpeg extension work exactly the same as .jpg.
- Tap or click Choose JPG images. You can also drag photos onto the drop zone.
- Reorder the list with the up and down arrows so the pages read in the right sequence. Remove any extra photo with the ×.
- Set the page size and margin.
- Click Convert to PDF. The file downloads on its own, and a download button stays on screen as a backup.
How do I change a JPG to a PDF on Windows, Mac, or a phone?
Every major system has some built-in route. On Windows, you can open a photo, choose Print, and select Microsoft Print to PDF. On a Mac, Preview can export an image as a PDF or print several images to one PDF. On phones, the share sheet usually includes a Print option, and the print preview can often be saved as a PDF.
Those methods are fine for one photo. They get awkward when you need several photos in a specific order, when you want control over page size, or when a sideways phone photo ends up rotated the wrong way in the result.
This converter handles those cases directly. It reads the orientation data your camera saves with each JPG, so portrait shots come out upright instead of on their side. You see the whole page list before you convert, and the same steps work the same way on every device.
Page size and margin settings
Choose US Letter or A4 when the PDF is headed for a printer, a school portal, or an office that expects normal paper sizes. Each photo is scaled down to fit and centered on the page. Landscape photos get landscape pages, so a wide shot of a whiteboard is not shrunk into a strip.
Same as image, the default, makes each page the exact size of its photo. Use it when the PDF will mostly be viewed on screen and you do not want white borders.
For margins, pick No margin, Small, or Large. When you photograph paper documents, a small margin on Letter or A4 usually gives the cleanest printable result.
Your photos stay on your device
The conversion runs in your browser, and your JPGs are never uploaded to PaperPorter. That is worth knowing when the photos show pay stubs, tax forms, a driver's license, or a lease.
Each PDF can hold up to 100 images, with each file up to 25 MB. You can mix in PNG, HEIC, WebP, GIF, and BMP files too. The tool places photos on pages as they are; it does not recognize text, straighten a skewed photo, or edit the image itself.
Common problems when turning photos into a PDF
Pages are in the wrong order. Phones name photos by time taken, which may not match the document order. Fix it in the list with the arrows before you click Convert to PDF.
A page still looks sideways. Some apps strip the orientation data when they save or send a photo. If a page comes out turned, use Rotate PDF to turn just that page and save it.
The document has a lot of table around it. Fill the frame with the page when you take the photo, or trim the finished file with Crop PDF.
Text is hard to read. Shoot in good light and hold the phone parallel to the paper. Blurry or dark photos stay blurry in the PDF.
